AIHS 2022 To Hold B2B Meeting On Climate Change, Green building
This year’s African International Housing Show, AIHS will have b2b meetings for investors , real estate developers and other major stakeholders on climate change and green building, the Coordinator of the show, Festus Adebayo has said this year Abuja international Housing Show will hold from July 23rd-28th, 2022 in Abuja, with the theme: Housing for all -The role of Government in creating an effective enabling environment
According to Festus Adebayo, all preparations have commenced for the hosting of the largest premier Housing show in Abuja. This will be the 16th edition of the show which is powered with the partnership of Housing Tv Africa (owners of Housing Development program on AIT and TVC )
The platform which has become the largest convergence of local and international stakeholders has so much testimonies in terms of value added to exhibitors , networking among leading practitioners and top government functionaries has now become a must attend for serious players in the Africa housing sector. Already, participants from 15 countries have indicated interest to grace this year’s 16th Africa International Housing Show (formerly Abuja International Housing Show).
Africa International Housing Show is meant to promote affordable housing in Nigeria, while at the same time, bringing together stakeholders from all over the world to network, interact, discuss and come up with ideas to develop the sector. No fewer than 20 International Speakers are expected for the 2022 show slated for International Conference Centre, Abuja, from 25th–28th July.
Already organizations like REALLUK, Ghana Real Estate Communications Limited with the support of some other reputable government and non developers association have confirmed participation. Adebayo, said this year’s show will be building on the successes of the previous editions.
Running for 16 years now, AIHS, Adebayo said is a predestination for global and local stakeholders corporations, and home seeker to network, exhibit and make sales. He said the show is like the bridge that links all the stakeholders together; it is the platform where they meet every year to network and discuss for the betterment of the industry.
He further explained that the show is a neutral ground where estate surveyors can interact with quantity surveyors without rivalry, as a platform that brings everybody together to interact.
Those expected at the show according to him include building and construction companies, mortgage companies, public agencies, private companies.
He said that over the years the international platform had boasted many top government functionaries such in Nigeria and Ghana, many commissioners for housing, experts from IFC, World Bank, AUHF BuildingTechnology for affordable housing from different parts of the world, home interior.
The International Housing Show/Exhibition, he said will features Products Presentation, Exhibition of Real Estate Project Finance· DFC, USA and Simon Walley, Lead Financial Sector Specialist, Finance & Markets, WorldBank.
Participants are expected to share competitive ideas, cutting-edge innovatons, and influence public and private policies modern construction equipment, chemical and paints products, mortgage services.
Adebayo also hinted that the overall aim of the show is to provide innovations, and affordable housing solutions for Nigeria and Africa.
